Ensemble Workshop – Call for Artists | Blink Dance Theatre Geelong

ENSEMBLE WORKSHOP – CALL FOR ARTISTS

Blink Dance Theatre are looking for new ensemble members and will be offering a free introductory workshop in Geelong next month. The workshop is ideal for local movement artists, actors and dancers who are interested in the company and its approach to devising and making movement-based theatre. The workshop will be facilitated by Blink’s Artistic Director Lyndel Quick and Creative Director, Jessica Lesosky.

Workshop Date:

Sunday 9th September, 10:00-1:00pm

Venue: The Loft Dance & Yoga Studio, 7 Rutland Street, Newtown.

The 3-hour workshop will consist of a range of movement, acting games, contemporary dance and ensemble building activities for experienced performers.

Participants must be at least 18 years old to attend the workshop and the company welcomes a variety of ages including mature performers.

Following the workshop on Sunday 9th September will be an INFORMATION SESSION at 1:30pm. The informal Q & A is open to anyone and everyone, no bookings required. Come along, meet the team and hear about Blinks next project.

After the Ensemble Workshop, selected participants will be contacted and invited to continue working with the company later in the year on the Creative Development for Blink’s next project.
