Audition Workshop 2020

CALL OUT: Experienced Dancers, Physical Actors and Movement Artists.


Development of a new dance theatre work investigating the nature of memory, the perception of time, complex repeating patterns and the human search for meaning.
Blink are looking for 8 physical performers, highly experienced with ensemble work – movement, dance and text. Professional experience, dance and/or acting tertiary training highly desirable. Strong devising and improvisation skills.

DATE: Sunday February 2nd
TIME: 10-1pm
VENUE: Geelong Arts Centre, Studio 3, Ryrie Street, Geelong.

The audition workshop will consist of warm up, dance theatre phrase material, script and improvisational tasks. There will also be a short info session and time for Q & A.

Twice weekly rehearsals commencing March 2nd
Mondays 10-1pm and Thursdays 6-9pm
Performance: Friday May 22nd 2020

Audition, Rehearsals and Performance located at Geelong Arts Centre, Ryrie Street, Geelong.

This is a paid opportunity. Blink encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds and ages 18+ to audition. Older movers welcome.
